In this sermon To Build an Altar, The altar needs to be the center of our life, because the altar is a place a sacrifice, the place of worship and life, and it is also a place that is representative of God’s abiding presence. The altar needs to be the center of our life, so that we can give our life to God as a living sacrifice.  If we want our names in the lamb’s  book of life that we have to be willing to pay the price of sacrifice upon the altar.
