In this sermon, We learn that we have been chosen. We have been called out as kings and priests.  The Bible says that you are of royal blood. Saul turned from the Lord and refused to obey the Lord's commands. Because of this he was rejected by the Lord as King of Israel. God asked Samuel, the prophet, to go to Bethlehem and seek out Jesse. God had selected one of Jesse's sons to be the next king of Israel. When Samuel arrived in Bethlehem, he called for Jesse to bring his sons to a public sacrifice for the Lord.
