In this sermon Choose The Tree That Refuses To Exalt Self, And Live Forever, Jesus said that our lives  or ourselves must be denied. We take up a cross and follow Jesus if we desire to serve Jesus. And he proclaims a principle that makes this true. You must pass the forbidden desire to exalt self in order to deny self and lose your life and find it again in resurrection! Jesus said we MUST LOSE "OUR" "LIFE". As the meat MUST LOSE ITS LIFE, WHICH IS ITS BLOOD, we must lose our LIFE.  And we read that we will find it. Eat fruit that speaks of LOSS OF SELF LIFE. Fruit in this case speaks of WORDS and BELIEFS. Fruit that speaks of GAINING ETERNAL LIFE. We read of TREES OF RIGHTEOUSNESS that are akin to TREES OF LIFE. These trees are His planting. God did the work. The notable thing about SELF exaltation is that it glorifies yourself. What YOU DID and what YOU CAN DO. Trees of righteousness cause the Lord to be glorified. NOT SELF! Its HIS LIFE coming out from them.
