As we read through the scriptures, we will see the reason we need to be baptized in water. When the subject of being baptized in water is brought up, there are a great number of trains of thought on it. When your sins are remitted at the waters of baptism you are freed from them and the ensuing judgment. Sin will have no more dominion over you, because you’ve been freed from sin.
