In this sermon The Beauty of a Brand New Day, we read about Jonah and his challenge.  He was in the deep of the sea, and felt like everything had come crashing down. But, after 3 days of distressed, with his head hung down, and sickening conditions, he remembered the God that he served. Yes, He had messed up, and his life was in shambles, but he began to remember what a wonderful God he served. A God that wouldn’t turn His back on him, a God that had forgiven him before. A God that was Caring, Loving,  Compassionate, and full of Grace, and full of Mercy. When Jonah started thinking on these things right there in the belly of Hell, Jonah let his voice out, and he cried out to God. Like Never before, Jonah cried out to God, with a different outlook on life. Whenever God is speaking to you, you better remember what God has said. There’s gonna be a day when God ain’t gonna be saying a word, and you better know what He’s already told you. And Friends, If God don’t feel like it’s time for you to hear anything new, then understand this…That’s His way of telling you to “Just keep on doing what I’ve already told you to do”.
