The Be – Attitudes

The Be – Attitudes challenges believers to consider what their outlook says about the God they serve. Philippians 4:8–9 sets the direction. Our thoughts and words shape our influence. This sermon calls a congregation to replace complaint with a hopeful spirit that points people toward Jesus.

The Be – Attitudes connects attitudes with Christian witness. People hear how we speak about church, fellow believers, and living for God. Do those conversations invite interest or deepen distrust? Through examples and questions, the message helps listeners see why their tone matters when they share their faith.

An airplane’s attitude gauge provides a picture of direction. The sermon then moves into life, work, and church relationships. Its illustrations give preachers ways to challenge a negative outlook. However, the emphasis reaches beyond sounding cheerful. It asks believers to remember the good that Jesus has brought into their lives.

The Be – Attitudes encourages an appreciation for salvation, fellowship, and the work of God among His people. A testimony of deliverance can offer hope where criticism offers little. Meanwhile, choosing words that build others up can strengthen the very community we want others to join. These themes make the message useful for a church seeking unity and outreach.

Use The Be – Attitudes for a Christian living series, a service on spiritual growth, or a renewed witness emphasis. John 13 adds the example of Jesus washing His disciples’ feet. His kindness brings the sermon toward humility, service, and the heart behind our actions.

Finally, The Be – Attitudes reminds hearers that others read our lives as well as hear our words. Preach it to encourage gratitude, speech, and a willing spirit of service. The message invites a congregation to show the hope of Christ through its daily conduct. A changed attitude can strengthen a witness.
