In this sermon Back of the Flock, Front of the Kingdom, Sometimes God just wants to remind us of where we came from, so he can show us where he wants to take us to. Think back to where God has brought you from. Take some time to praise Him for it right now. God wants to reveal to someone where he wants to take you. God wanted David to remember where he had brought him from. “David I brought you from the back of the flock to the front of the kingdom.” David you were last. You were the youngest son of Jesse. But I made you first. David I promoted you. God is in the business of promoting his people. Joseph, Daniel, Noah, David All of these men and many more were promoted from the back of the flock to the front of the kingdom! God wants to promote his people!
