Eyes represent our “understanding” in the Bible. There is something we must fix our understand upon in the Kingdom of God. There is a truth we must always keep in mind. We must maintain a certain understanding. The cherubim were figures that were shaped out of hammered gold. Therefore they would always look to the direction they were shaped to look to. This is a perfect picture to us of the need for us to always keep an understanding in our minds.
