In this sermon If You Do What is Right, We read of God’s delivering mercy towards His servant David. Saul treated him like dirt. He deserved much better, so God took care of that. David had been the deliverer of his country when he slew Goliath, yet he was hunted as if he was Israel’s worst enemy. God will not forsake His righteous and  faithful children! Don’t let previous failures keep you from starting right now to do what is right in God’s eyes. When a wicked man gets old, he may say, “I don’t sin like those young people.”  The difference is that you cannot sin like those young people because passions and strength have grown cold and dim.  That is not what we are after.  Rather, we are after a complete change of heart.  That can only happen with a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ.
