A common problem with believers and cause for backsliding is the thought that perfect strength will accompany perfect hearts. They think THEY must have perfect strength and never fail. The devil is trying to fool you, and make you think you must have perfect strength and never slip up, if you really had a perfect heart. In this lesson, we learn God is telling us we only need a PERFECT HEART. God will supply the perfect power. He does not look for perfect strength alongside perfect hearts, because He knows WE CANNOT HAVE PERFECT STRENGTH.
