In this sermon Fleshly Desire For Life, Not Death, we all want eternal life, but denying  self will  in a sort of death is what we dread. Everyone wants eternal life, but the part about death is what keeps them from this life, since the fleshly desire is against DEATH. We love to do our own wills, but if we realize that allows space in our lives for the enemy to work, and that much space hinders God's Spirit from flowing through us. We would deny self far more often.
