In this lesson we gain an understanding of the Holy Anointing Oil.  The primary purpose of the oil was to sanctify, and to set the person or object apart. In other words, the oil was used to anoint the person or object so they may function in a particular sphere of ministry. The oil is symbolic throughout Scripture of Holy Ghost quickening power resting upon the person or object that is anointed.
