There are many who have this allergy who cannot bear to be on any high place. In Afraid Of That Which Is High, we learn about spiritual acrophobia.  As it is in the natural, so it is in the spiritual realm.  The cause of God is greatly hindered because there abides in the heart of many of God’s people,  “Spiritual Acrophobia”, or the fear of going to the HIGH PLACE.  This fear has made many turn down a call to preach, and many not use there talents for the Lord.  Notice the writer says “And fear shall be in the way”.  Fear is a dreadful thing.  No wonder many have lost the desire to live for God. The way up is to get in the spirit. If you expect to go up in the Rapture you must have the spirit of God.  You cannot increase your spiritual elevation without the Holy Ghost.
