In this lesson, 4 Things the Lord Does for Me,  if the sentence, “The Lord is my shepherd,” is true of each one of us, then this guarantees us certain privileges. First and foremost, we must recognize that the shepherd was the guide of his flock. As the flock patiently followed their shepherd, they had not distractions to worry their poor brains. They were happy that they were provided for. They were content because their shepherd led the way. We need to take a moment and consider how the Lord is our guide. Look at the past, and note how He has guided you; how very little we have had to deal with it after all! there is far more of the hand of God in our life than there is of our own hand, if our life has been what it ought to be. I am to follow where God leads me, having nothing to do with the making of the road. But only following the Lord my Shepherd wherever he leads me. The Lord is my Shepherd, past, present, and future!
