Mothers in The Presence of the King

1 Kings 3:24-27 (KJV)

24 And the king said, Bring me a sword. And they brought a sword before the king. 25 And the king said, Divide the living child in two, and give half to the one, and half to the other. 26 Then spake the woman whose the living child was unto the king, for her bowels yearned upon her son, and she said, O my lord, give her the living child, and in no wise slay it. But the other said, Let it be neither mine nor thine, but divide it. 27 Then the king answered and said, Give her the living child, and in no wise slay it: she is the mother thereof.

Solomon, the King of the nation of Israel, was chosen to judge and establish the throne of his father, David, before the Lord forever. In chapter three, King Solomon has a dream and God told him, “Whatever you ask of me, I’m going to give to you!” King Solomon could have asked for a multitude of different things, but he requested that God give him the ability to discern situations. King Solomon desired to be able to judge each situation he’s faced with adequately. This pleased the Lord, so God granted him with his request, along with riches and honor as well.

Revelation 17:14 (KJV)

14 …for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

I’m glad we have a King that knows what is right and wrong! I’m glad he’s my judge and hears my cries. He understands when no one else does, His heart is merciful, and I’m thankful for His grace. We serve a God that will make a way!

God’s not worried about your shortcomings; He doesn’t care about your past. God is touched by the feelings of your infirmities. He is moved by your cry!

Psalm 126:5-6 (KJV)

5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. 6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

Even though the weeping may endure through the night, Joy cometh in the morning! The bible says that no weapon formed against you can prosper!

It’s amazing that the bible says while Solomon was offering up an offering and a sacrifice in Jerusalem, while he was making a feast before God, it was these two Mothers that walked in and came before the king!

1 Kings 3:16 (KJV)

16 Then came there two women, that were harlots, unto the king, and stood before him.

These were two women that worked the streets, women that were bound by sin in their former lives. They came before the King.

Romans 3:23 (KJV)

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Nobody is perfect, but I believe that there are mothers sitting in this House, right now, who are willing and ready to walk into the middle of the feast, and cry, “Master, I need you! Please restore my dreams, hopes, visions, and life!”

Don’t divide the baby! Rise up, your miracle is on the way!

You might feel like one of these two mothers, but you can still step into the fullness of your appointed destiny today! Come, let your soul yearn and weep before him.

I know it may seem difficult to get into the presence of God, but all He is looking for is broken people who are sincerely searching for Him. He will show up if you reach for Him!

Personally, I believe these women felt that way. I don’t think they felt like they could just walk into his presence and tell him all their problems. I think they felt like if they were going to get to the King, then they would to go through a lot of different means before they got to his throne.

They already took their case to the local authorities, majesties, and courtrooms; nobody could give them Godly counsel, or an answer.

Nobody could render unto them a just judgment! Nobody could see the truth!

But this mother was so determined to get her son saved. She knew in her heart that the King had the answer! She made up her mind! If I can just get to The King, I will have a chance! If he will just hear my plea!

The King has the answers to your problems! The king had the solution to the problem, because God gave him the ability to discern the situation!

Does anyone feel like they’re in a mess today? Does it feel like everything is upside-down? The King is the one with the answer!

His name is King Jesus! No matter how big of a hole you’ve dug in your life, King Jesus has the answer to all your problems!

Satan will do his very best job to divide the baby. That’s why we need mothers that will cry for their children!

As our world is falling deeper into the filth of sin, we need the sword more than ever! Satan is everywhere trying to divide the baby! Our culture is spinning out of control and the family unit is breaking down. Our sons and daughters need mothers that will cry out, “save the baby!”

Deuteronomy 30:19 (KJV)

19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

You are destined to be a Godly mother! You know what’s right and what’s wrong! God has placed you on this earth for this very hour! You have a destiny that God has specifically made for you! Don’t divide the baby! Don’t compromise your destiny!

Too many Mothers have divided the baby, because they have been led in deceit. Satan loves to whisper the worst things in our ears at the worst times. We hear things like, “You’re a failure! It’s too late!”

If this sounds familiar, you need to understand that the Devil is worried. The Devil is worried, because you have enormous potential. You can live a Godly, fruitful life! You need to tell the Devil that you disagree! God has a real blessing for you, a blessing so great that it cannot be contained!

King Solomon called for the sword. The sword was the tool of wisdom that would bring the real mother to her destiny! The answers for all of your troubles and problems are in the Sword of the Spirit, which is The Word of God!

I want you to know something, the love that you express or withhold is a life-changing influence that impacts your children for the rest of their lives. You may not recognize it yet, but all of you are God’s creation. You don’t need to be perfect to come to God! In fact, no one is perfect! We ALL fall short of him!

Your parents may have been careless. You might have grown up feeling unwanted. They may have told you that you were the result of a careless moment, but you were appointed to become a Godly mother!

Don’t you beat yourself down! Get before the King! God has brought you into this world! He’s raised you for specific situations and circumstances! For one greater purpose, which is to reflect his glory! You are destined to become a great mother.

God is too wise and too loving to put your destiny into the hands of another person! The King has the sword, and it’s in his hands to deliver you.

The King had the only answer. The King had the complete solution to the problem, but it was up to this mother to be so persistent to get the answer!
We need mothers that will make a difference!

Everything we do is according to the measure of our faith. We must reach beyond the preliminaries to make the difference. You have to get into the presence of the King! You will either choose life or death. You will either save the baby, or divide it!

We need you!

I can’t think of a more important task than to seek to ensure that your children are a part of the Kingdom of God. We need real mothers without any pretense. We need mothers to get ahold of the Holy Ghost and cry out to God. We need mothers who can help change our children’s futures and their hearts! We need mothers that, no matter what, will stand up and do what’s right! Don’t divide the baby! Let God decide that.

You can read about Godly mothers in the bible from the beginning to the end. About how they were to train up their children in the way they should go, but God is calling mothers today. He is waiting to hear your cry and wants to ease the burden you have for your children. God is calling mothers to become fully devoted. God is calling mothers to get into the presence of The King!
