Refreshing The Angels On How We Worship!

Ephesians 3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

Look at what the Apostle Paul is saying here; he is telling us that we have a tremendous responsibility! He’s trying to tell us that the church is to teach the principalities, powers, and all the spirit world within the heavens all the ways of God.

Now that means angels, and even more, the fallen angels.

To this Intent, the manifold wisdom of God is to be shown and demonstrated to the demonic world, and the spirit world!

We, the Church, are to proclaim and sound off the Gospel to this world! We are here to teach the manifold wisdom of God not only to man, but to the principalities and the powers in all heavenly places!

We are the Church! He is going to use the church to teach every ruler, and authority in the heavenly places!

We, the Church, are the grand theatre in which the divine wisdom is displayed, through our Lord’s death, burial, and resurrection.

Come on Church! We need to teach the angels how to worship! We are to show and to introduce them to his royal, and holy presence with our worship!

We are to preach with the boldness of Paul and show the ranks of the angelic world, with full confidence, the multifaceted manifold wisdom of God.

We are to teach and refresh the angelic world on how to truly worship the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

We need to teach the heavens how to praise him! How many want to refresh the angels today by showing them how it is done?                                                                                                               We are to be giving them lessons, and causing them to know right this very hour, the wonderful, manifold wisdom of God

We need to refresh the angels and show them how it’s done!

John 4:23-24

23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

If we are true worshippers, we have to have the right spirit and we have to have the truth!

If you desire a refreshing, the refreshing must start in your spirit! I came here today to get renewed in my spirit! God has come here to refresh us! He has come into this place to pick us up and refresh us!

“the Father seeketh such to worship him.”

He is looking for our worship! He wants to pour out on us a refreshing! His spirit is searching for people that will worship.

He is looking for someone with the right spirit to worship him, no matter what they may be going through, no matter how bad things have turned out, no matter how bad they have been treated; God is searching and looking for someone to worship him with a pure spirit and to worship him with the spirit of truth.

Now, you may think I have fallen off my rocker; the angels have been doing this since angels they’ve existed! How in the world can we show these angelic beings how to worship? It’s not like they are amateurs when it comes to worship.

Revelation 4:8 …and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

When you read the scriptures Revelation 4   I saw the angels about the throne! And it says they were crying with a loud voice, multitudes, and millions of angels Day and night they sing the same song and just when they think they know everything about him, God reveals something new to them! Just when they start to feel calm and in control, they see another aspect of His glory.

But…

Ephesians 3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

We are to show the heavenly host the manifold wisdom of God through our worship! God’s looking for someone who isn’t perfect, desires the Him, and wants to be set free! Someone who wants to be called redeemed! God’s plan is for us to continually show forth the manifold wisdom of God and praise Him, so that the angels will stay in awe of our mighty God. Every time we lift our hands, we are refreshing the angels!

Psalm 34:1 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

We need to understand that the book of Job is the oldest book in the bible! The book of Job talks about creation, and it also speaks of how the angels were there!

Job 26:7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.

Job 38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

Now, understand that these angels were created at ‘creation’ and their first conscience thought was, upon seeing God and His creation, praise!

They were born pure; they were born holy. They were instantly created, and when God created them, their very first thought was to instantly worship Him! It was like they were programmed to worship!

Their first thought was God, their first place was in heaven, and their first feeling was the glory all around them!

So when they were created, they saw God, and cried out “Holy, holy, holy!” Then there were three arch angels! Gabriel, the messenger angel, Michael, the warring angel, and Lucifer!

In the book of Ezekiel, Lucifer is described as having musical instrument inside him. Everything was created within this angel worshipper named Lucifer.

He was there in Heaven, he would lead in worship, and he was gifted and powerful. The bible called him the anointed cherubim. He was anointed and he had the anointing to worship.

Obviously, one day he was leading the worship in heaven, leading the choirs of heaven, and as God walks in, his glory fills the temple. All the angels began to worship around God and Lucifer had a thought; If they would just turn and look over here where I am, If they would look over this direction, If they would turn toward me and direct that worship to me: I would be like God!

So, Lucifer thought wrong and Iniquity was found in his heart, because of his arrogance and pride. The bible says that God cast him out of heaven!

God just gave the devil a flick! And one third of the angels in heaven with Lucifer, who were born in the presence of God, were cast out of heaven!

I wonder if it depressed God! I doubt it seriously, because it’s one thing to be programed to worship God and another thing to want, or make a choice to worship God! I chose to praise him! Not just when I feel good. Not because I feel I have too! Not when I just feel on top! Not when life is just dandy! Not when somebody decides to put a gun to my head and force me! But I chose to praise him! I will bless the Lord at all times!

When we make choices to worship him; the singing sounds sweeter to God! Our voices sound beautiful to his ears! Every hand clap means more to him; when we do it because we want too.

Oh somebody needs to show the angels how to praise him! God loves this kind of worship.

God created us with the ability to choose!

Job 1:6-12

6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.

7 And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

8 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

9 Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?

10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.

12 And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.

You can almost hear Michael say, “You couldn’t! You couldn’t do it when you were in heaven! This man, Job, is doing it and he is living on good old earth.

Satan couldn’t live for God in heaven and here we are walking on asphalt. If you’re living for God shout, “PRAISE, THE LORD!”

Sometimes we may stumble, but we get back up and say, “Thank God for the blood of Jesus!” Don’t you let the enemy put condemnation and guilt on you about anything; Satan left his first estate and came down!

Here we are, we’ve never seen God, we were born in sin, we have never seen him face to face. We go through trials, battles, and shed many tears on this planet.

Angels don’t go through trials, they don’t shed tears, they don’t feel sickness, they don’t felt disease, they have never had a battle with flesh, never a financial difficulty; never a pain or head ache!

Yet when we go through all kinds of hell, trails, and temptations we lift up our hands and say as Job did!

Job 13:15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.

I still love you! I still trust you! I still honor you! I still praise you!

When you begin to worship, it drives the devil and his demons crazy! When you praise Him, the devil envies you, they can’t understand how you can praise him when everything in this world try’s to destroy you and tear you down!

Let’s have a praise break!

The enemy and his cohort scratch their heads when you begin to praise him! They do not know what to do through it all; keep on praising him!

Come on! Let’s refresh the angels, and show them how it’s done!

When Satan comes after your health; Praise him!

When he takes your sons and daughters away; Praise him!

When he attacks your house, and tries to make it collapse; Praise Him!

When the Sabeans raid you and steal everything you’ve got; Praise him!

When he tries to say your children are dead and there is no use; Praise him! When he raises a strong wind and tries his best to sweep it all away; Praise him! When he has burned up everything and it looks like there is no hope; Praise him! When he works against your spouse and they say curse him and die; Praise him!

Job 1:13-19

13 And there was a day when his sons and his daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother’s house:

14 And there came a messenger unto Job, and said, The oxen were plowing, and the asses feeding beside them:

15 And the Sabeans fell upon them, and took them away; yea, they have slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

16 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

17 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

18 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother’s house:

19 And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

We need to understand that the angels are very interested in you! Come on; refresh that angel! You thought I quit! You thought I cursed God! You thought I gave up! Praise the name of the Lord! No, I love him more now, than when I went through this trial.

So here is Job; he is the richest man in the east, he also has the prettiest daughters in the east, his family is picture perfect, he has a wife that loves him, he has three best friends, he has servants by the hundreds, a whole corporation that employs thousands, he has thousands of sheep, thousands of oxen, thousands of donkeys, and camels, he is blessed, he has gold, he has silver, he has barns, he has houses, he has mansions, and he is taking sacrifice every day and burning up ten sacrifices giving thanks!

You can just hear him, “Thank you Lord for my children, wife, home, cattle, family…”

And God tells Satan, “Go ahead I will remove the hedge now! Go and hit him with your best shot devil, because he will still worship me!”

Hey angels watch this! Angels from heaven come here! And all the demons and principalities gathering around! Watch now!

Job 1:20-22

20 Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,

21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

22 In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.

It’s like one side of heaven is over here saying, “hold on Job!”

And all kinds of demons are hissing, saying, “Curse him! Curse him and die!”

It’s like Job is in the middle of this great vortex and all of heaven and hell is wondering what he is going to do, and Job rips off his clothes, shaves his head, and says, “blessed be the name of the Lord!”

Job 2:1-6

1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord.

2 And the Lord said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

3 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

4 And Satan answered the Lord, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.

5 But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.

6 And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life.

“Well, God, I would worship you with some cattle, sheep, and oxen, but I don’t have any! I would praise you for my children, but I don’t have any more; they are all dead! God, I’m thankful for my wife! I’m thankful for your presence and for my health!”

And while he is speaking about it! From the top of his head to the bottom of his feet infection and boils start all over his body; he can’t stand, he can’t walk, sit, he cannot lay down. He’s in agony, and feels and looks like a freak. He is swollen, and infected, and he takes pottery and scrapes the heads of his soars off. Leaking puss and infection is running all over his body.

Job 2:7-13

7 So went Satan forth from the presence of the Lord, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.

8 And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes.

9 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.

10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

11 Now when Job’s three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him.

12 And when they lifted up their eyes afar off, and knew him not, they lifted up their voice, and wept; and they rent every one his mantle, and sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven.

13 So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great.

“There are so many trials here on this earth. Man I want to go home. Yes, I will see my momma there!”

Angels start looking over the balcony; Devils come out of their caverns of hell and start glaring at him; What is he going to do?

“Man I want to go home!  Take me to the spot where Lucifer blew it, so I can worship where he left off!”
