The Telling of a Secret

 

Matthew 13:34-35

34 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:

35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

Can you keep a secret? God has a timing issue with everything. Christmas presents are not supposed to be opened until Christmas. God has some things to tell us that He has not told us yet.

Isaiah 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

God knows what is going to happen before it happens. God is waiting at the end of the parade for you to get there.

God knew every failure, trial, mistake, and blunder before you made it, and He still chose you!

You cannot and will not surprise God!

Nothing is by happenstance!

There are no coincidences with God!

I may not see, understand, or comprehend, but my steps are ordered of the Lord, and He knows where we are going.

Job 23:8-14

8 Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him:

9 On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him:

10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

11 My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined.

12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.

13 But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth.

14 For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him.

Left, right, forward, backward; He is nowhere to be found!

God has a plan for my life! God has a plan for this church!

He is waiting on us to get to the right spot, and He wants to reveal a secret to us.

Matthew 13:35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

The devil only has a premonition of what God is going to do for this church.

The devil’s motto is ‘an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.’

He is trying everything that he can to prevent us from getting to the spot where God is waiting. God is still waiting to tell us the secret.

Think with me, what: trial, struggle, sickness, oppression, depression, or discouragement have you been going through? Why?

There are two reasons:

1. The devil trying to hinder you.

2. God is trying to prepare you for something.

Where are we going?

Perpetual Revival!

Tonight is the night, today is the day, this is your hour!

It is broken!

God wants to take us to the next level of revival!

There has been a purpose and reason for everything that has happened to you, and the reason is revival!

God gets to tell us the secret that He knew before the worlds were framed!
