Think Bigger With God Anointed Vision and Wisdom and you’ll begin to see your potential through Heaven’s perspective instead of earthly limitation. The same God who created a universe so vast it defies human measurement is the One who desires to fill your mind with His thoughts, His plans, and His wisdom. If God can number and name every star in a galaxy we haven’t fully seen, imagine what He can do through a life—your life—fully surrendered to His vision.

If you want to think of big, consider the universe that God created. 

The closest star to the Earth is the Sun. The second closest star to the Earth is Alpha Centauri. Alpha Centauri is a binary star system that is 4.37 light years away. That is more than 25.6 trillion miles, or approximately 266,000 astronomical units, or AU’s. One AU is equal to the average distance of Earth to it’s own sun. 

The spacecraft Voyager 1 has been flying through space since September 5, 1977 and has yet to cover even .05 percent of that distance. As of December 4, 2020 it has traveled 14 billion miles from Earth. It still communicates with the Deep Space Network. It would take 40,000 years for it to reach Alpha Centauri. 

It is estimated that there are approximately 100 - 400 million stars in the Milky Way Galaxy. The Milky Way is 170,000 to 200,000 light years in diameter. Scientists estimate that there are approximately 100 - 200 billion galaxies. The number cannot actually be known because other galaxies are outside of the range of technological viewing. The estimated size of the known universe is approximately 46 billion light years in radius, or 92 billion in diameter. Scientists say it is possible that we may have only observed 3% of what is really out there! It is literally incalculable. 

The universe is rapidly expanding in all directions at speeds far exceeding the speed of light; much faster at the edges than near the center. 

Current science cannot accurately measure the size and speed of expansion of the universe. Each second approximately 20,000 stars disappear from view. This means they reach an event horizon condition at which point their light can never reach the planet Earth again. 

The Incalculable God

Psalm 147:4 says of God, “He counts the number of the stars; he names all of them.” (NET)

He created every star and everything else in the universe. (See Genesis 1:16 and Hebrews 11:3)

To consider every minute detail of creation is beyond human imagination, but yet God did it all. Not only that, but He declared the end from the beginning. (See Isaiah 46:10)

God is infinite. If there is an end to the universe, it would still be just the beginning of God. He is all knowing, incomparable, dimensionless, and timeless.

God thinks big. The universe, the Earth, mankind, and creatures of every kind are all His creation. The invisible realm of the Kingdom of Heaven and its innumerable number of angelic hosts are all His creation. 

In God’s Image

God made man in His image (See Genesis 1:27). God is the Creator, and therefore man has a measure of creative ability also. God made everything out of nothing (See Hebrews 11:3), and man makes everything out of things that God has made. God used His thoughts and voice and so does man. God has no rival, and to Adam He gave dominion over all the creatures of the Earth and therefore Adam had no rival. 

The historical innovations of man are astounding. It is amazing what individuals and collective groups of people can accomplish when they put their minds to it. Even thousands of years ago it was God Himself that testified of the capacity of what people can do when they unite their minds and works together. Concerning the Tower of Babel God said. “now nothing shall be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” 

Anointed Minds

God can and will anoint the minds and understanding of individuals in order to accomplish His purposes. 

• He gave Noah the understanding to build the Ark.
• Joseph was able to lead Egypt with an ingenious plan that prospered Egypt and saved nations from starvation.  
• Moses was able to hear from God and impart understanding to the people that literally opened Heaven to Earth. 
• As a result of one dream Solomon became the wisest king who ever reigned. 
• David and Solomon masterminded the most expensive Temple ever built. 
• Bezaleel was a man of great understanding for creative craftsmanship. (See Exodus 31:2)
• People marveled at the knowledge of the apostles. (See Acts 4:13)

We are encouraged in James 1:5 to ask for wisdom and told God will give it to us. Proverbs 2:6 reveals that God can give us wisdom and understanding. 1 Corinthians 2:16 says that, “we have the mind of Christ.”  

2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 

Jesus said, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” (Matthew 7:7-8)

The Word of God has numerous examples of God granting wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and great craftsmanship to individuals in order for them to accomplish His purposes through them. 

The purpose of anointed wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and craftsmanship is to glorify God and perform His will. It is never to be about us, but always about glorifying God. 

Think Bigger

It is our privilege to think bigger. We must require ourselves to do so. The people of God should not think within a box of limitations for there is no such box. 

In Daniel 1:17, God gave Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, “knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.”  In verse 20 the king declared them to be an astounding ten times better than everyone else. This was God’s doing!

We should be asking God to impart His wisdom, knowledge, dreams, visions, plans,   thoughts, and purposes into our minds. 

We should petition God with a pure heart and never out of greed, lust, pride, envy, or any other carnal motif. 

It is not a matter of I.Q. or level of education. God can bypass those things instantly. 

Even as the world of today is oppressed by countless man created problems; God’s people can become the solutions through the inspirations of God.  

We must think bigger. The potential is unlimited. 

Prove God

God made a promise in Malachi 3:10 that if we would tithe unto Him then He would open the windows of Heaven and pour blessings upon us. 

We embrace and believe that. Therefore, can we not also believe that if we seek God for the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to accomplish His purposes through us that He will impart it for His glory to be made manifest through us?

In Conclusion

Today is the opportune time for God’s people to shine in a dark world. The choice is ours to make as individuals. Those who sincerely seek for God’s anointing upon their minds for His purposes will receive it from the LORD. 

No one can accomplish the purposes God has for them with a carnal mind. We must be renewed in our mind. Romans 12:2 says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of the mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” 

Consider the miracle God performed for King Nebuchadnezzar. He completely lost his mind for seven years. He ate grass and lived wild in the field like an animal. He was driven away from men. Afterward God not only restored his mind, but He also returned him to his throne to once again reign over a vast kingdom. If God did it for Nebuchadnezzar, then God can also do it for you. 

You can think bigger through God than you ever have before. The Creator of the universe fills all things (See Ephesians 4:10). Allow Him to fill your thoughts also.
