First, Believe That He Is

Romans 10:8-21
Topics: Salvation Spiritual Growth Faith Our Witness
Many people today have returned to a priesthood, ornately decorated gowns, candles, and even incense to gain access to God. Others have discarded obedience to the new-birth message and holiness in exchange for a message of only “believing in their hearts” and “confessing with their mouths,” not understanding that they are not mutually exclusive. To forsake any of these doctrines in exchange for a message of only “believe” and “confess” would be an error of grievous proportions. [ read more... ]

That is why Satan wants nothing more than to find a way to separate us from our axe head: The Holy Ghost. [ read more... ]

A place can be holy. Clothes can be holy. Perfume used to anoint the tabernacle can be holy. This platform is holy. Don’t Pack Up Your Troubles

2 Timothy 3:8-8
Topics: Baptism Encouragement Spiritual Growth
Paul tells us that Baptism is like our death, burial, and resurrection. Our old man died, was buried in the water, and our new man rose again. Too many of us keep that old man propped up in the corner. We keep carrying around the sins, lusts, and pride of our past. We carry this mixed multitude with us. If you want to store anything, store up your treasures in heaven where moth and rust do not corrupt. Purge yourself from all the unclean things of this earth. Purge your pride. Forget who you think you are; become who God thinks you are. [ read more... ]
