There has always been a movement to discredit the authenticity of the scripture using Bible Contradictions. These people do not rightly divide the Word.

1. People will study just enough Bible to formulate an opinion that violates doctrine.
2. Without careful study, there are times the Bible seems to contradict itself.
3. That is why the Bible says to study.
4. One should rightly divide the word of truth.
5. We don’t need more arguments and disputations.
6. Read the pure Word of God. The authenticity of the scripture.
7. Some, as described in Titus 3:9, try to “trip” you up with foolish questions, contentions, and strivings.
8. We must know what those vain babblings are in order to recognize them and avoid them.

Is God good to all or just a few?

The scriptures used are:

9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. Psalm 145:9

14 And I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and the sons together, saith the LORD: I will not pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, but destroy them. Jeremiah 13:14

1. On the surface, this seems like a contradiction.
2. Psalm 145:8 explains Gods goodness to all. He is slow to anger.This lets us know He does get angry.
3. Jeremiah shows us the product of Gods anger.
4. The question then is, why is God angry in Jeremiah?

1. We can derive from this study that when someone feels there is a contradiction in scripture, they have not fully studied the subject they are questioning.
2. Those who feel there are contradictions in the scripture will never be won by our arguments and persuasion.
3. There is power and authority in the written and spoken word of God.
