In this sermon You Can’t Find your Future by Looking into the Past, If we are always looking behind us we can never see what is before us. We should never dwell on the past because it can hinder what lies in the future. If you dwell on past failures you will never get anywhere with God. If you dwell on the things that once brought you down, they will bring you down again. The main reason so many people turn away from God is they can’t stop living in the past. You cannot build a lasting relationship with God if you are trying to live in the past. You cannot get over sinful habits if you don’t let them go. God delivers a person from sin but as long as they look back they will never be completely delivered. If you are popular among the sinners, you are not popular with God. If you don’t sell out to God you will be bought out by the Devil. When you know that without God your future will be in Hell. Once you enter eternity there is no turning back. Remember your future with God will be determined if you leave the past in the past.
