Comparing man to a plant that is planted to produce fruit, Paul said: 1Cor 3:6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. To PLANT a person is to preach the Gospel and see the person accept God’s salvation and obey the Gospel. TO WATER a person is to continue to MINISTER so that the person planted will produce FRUIT. Thank God that His WORD will accomplish what it is sent forth to do.
