Whose Opinion?
In this sermon Whose Opinion, The kingdom of God will not mold itself around you. You allow yourself to be molded to it. Every man presses into it tells us that it is a decision, and work. It is not what you are not allowed to do, but rather, what does God want you to do. This phenomenon of “every opinion counts” is also shown on the millions of news blogs and commentaries posted on-line. We were told that people were being empowered, when really there is just millions of pointless words written everyday that will be read and remembered by nobody. We even see this attitude sneak into people’s Christian lives as well. People say, “I will go to this Church because they allow you to do this or that.” It surprises me what other teachings people obviously think are unimportant, as long as the Church allows the thing that they want to do. The question I want to ask is, “Does the opinion of the Church matter?”
