Who am I?

In this sermon Who am I, we learn as the old saying goes, “You can’t hide what’s inside.”. Not only does it become clear to them, but those around us can sense it and those over whom we have influence may begin to regard that individual in the same manner as we. When a person feels as though you care about them enough to show interest in them and spend time disciplining them they are less likely to walk away from you or from God, for that matter. You see, we are the illustration and manifestation of God to these people in the earth. If they cannot rely on us, how can we expect them to continue, as babes, to follow someone they have never physically seen? In addition, how we regard a person, whether in public or in private, often comes through and becomes apparent to them. Les Giblin said, “You can’t make the other fellow feel important in your presence if you secretly feel that he is a nobody.” So, in conclusion, shall we say that Jesus was trying to teach us a lesson in personal relations when he asks, and I paraphrase, “Who am I to you?”
