In this sermon When Your Cross Becomes Your Friend, On the surface, a cross would seem like anything but your friend. Until Jesus came. Until Jesus was crucified. We must “submit” ourselves to the Word of God and His will.  Daily, we must “separate” ourselves from the world and the works of the flesh. We must daily live a life of holiness as the scripture says: Daily, our commitment must remain  “LORD, I WILL GO WHERE YOU WANT ME TO GO, BE WHAT YOU WANT ME TO BE, SAY WHAT YOU WANT ME TO SAY” The symbol of the cross is the universal symbol of God’s love to man. Taking up our cross represents our love for Jesus. It is our love for Jesus that gives our cross POWER to work in our lives
