In this sermon When Life Becomes More Than You Can Bear, a wrong assumption we have as Christians is that dedicated Christians will never be in a situation where we feel emotionally and spiritually powerless, helpless and hopeless. We feel we'll never be in situations where we find ourselves in places where our options are closed to us. Do you know that the Bible in no place states “ GOD WILL PUT NO MORE ON YOU THAN YOU CAN BEAR”. The Bible says there hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man. There is a vast difference in a temptation and a trial. What this scripture is saying is that God is not going to let a temptation come against you that you will not be able to bear. When the temptation comes he will also create a way of escape. He was in all points tempted as we are yet without sin. God knows how tough temptations can be so he provides us a way out so it is not too hard for us to bear. This has nothing to do with the trials of life. [man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lusts and enticed ] IF GOD NEVER ALLOWED MORE ON US THAN WE COULD BEAR WE WOULD NEVER NEED A GOD. We could handle it all and there would be no need for prayer or faith Now that you know that life may get to be more than you can bear, don’t feel hopeless. God has made provisions for your safety and your soul when life becomes more than you can bear.
