GOD’S purpose is higher—as we contemplate Joseph’s struggles. We must remind ourselves that he did not know what I know. You see I have read the end of the story. Joseph relied on his faith in God’s higher purpose. Too often you and I get bogged down in the present circumstances to much to appreciate God’s ability to work beyond the moment. He prepares tomorrow with such a different backdrop than today—so marvelous and breathtaking that it makes us forget yesterday.
