God's word shows that troubles will come when we dedicate to God in a greater measure. But it informs us, through examples, that God deals with those who bring us trouble, and encourages thereby to keep on dedicating to God. But without knowing this, ignorance of the Word causes people to obey the devil and back off, only to lose their dedication.
