In this sermon, What Is Truth?  Truth was not a side issue to Jesus Christ—it was the issue. We are living in a world that wants to see truth in real life situations.  We are also living in a day with many opinions and little conviction. The Person of the Word is Jesus; the written Word is the Bible. They are both liberating to our souls. Jesus said, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). There are so many voices from so many sources screaming at us today claiming to have truth. To discover truth—not some variation of someone's idea—we must listen to the voice of God and His Word. Will you embrace truth or will you run it out of town and ridicule it as the blind did in their secluded valley? The Bible is truth; He is Truth. As we embrace it, we learn more about Him. There is so much more about God than we can even dream or conceive. We cannot lock Him out by small thinking. As truth sets us free, let us set Him free.
