What About Me?

What About Me?

What About Me? is a challenging and encouraging sermon about discovering what God sees in you and what you can do for Him. Many believers wonder if God can use them despite their past, weaknesses, failures, or circumstances. This message reminds us that God sees what others cannot see, and He can use an ordinary person to make an eternal difference.

What About Me? begins with Jesus asking His disciples, “Whom do men say that I am?” From there, the message turns the question inward. What does God see when He looks at me? Why did He choose me? What can my life become when I place it in His hands?

This sermon speaks to people who struggle with rejection, insecurity, comparison, or feelings of inadequacy. It reminds us that our value does not come from the opinions of other people. God knows our strengths. He knows our weaknesses. He knows our successes and our failures. Yet He still calls us.

What About Me? challenges believers to stop focusing on what everyone else is doing and start asking what God wants them to do. Am I available? Am I serving? Am I making a difference? Am I helping someone find Jesus? These questions can turn passive Christianity into active ministry.

The message also reveals an important truth about soul winning: compassion matters. Reaching people requires sympathy, empathy, concern, kindness, and genuine care. Jesus loves the people others may overlook. Therefore, the church must learn to see people through His eyes and reach those who may feel forgotten or unwanted.

What About Me? connects personal calling with practical Christian service. Matthew 25 reminds us that when we feed the hungry, visit the sick, welcome the stranger, and serve those in need, we are serving Jesus Himself. Ministry does not always happen behind a pulpit. Sometimes ministry looks like helping, encouraging, comforting, visiting, listening, and simply showing someone the love of Christ.

This sermon is ideal for pastors preaching about Christian service, personal calling, soul winning, evangelism, compassion, discipleship, and discovering your purpose in God. It challenges every believer to stop waiting for someone else to do the work.

What About Me? is a strong message for anyone who has ever asked, “Can God really use me?” The answer is yes. God sees you better than you see yourself. He knows you completely, and He has called you to make a difference.

The final question is not simply, “What about me?” It is, “Lord, what can I do for You?”
