In this sermon Understanding the Will of God, we gain an understanding of what the scripture says is the general will of God. We will learn eight lights of Divine counsel and guidance that, when lined up, will provide specific direction for our lives. Any person, place, thing, or situation that helps us grow in grace and the knowledge of the Lord Jesus becomes a part of the will of God for our lives. Some things, people, and situations come into our lives for a short time, some for a season of time, and some for a lifetime. The problem is that sometimes we are not willing to let something go that has fulfilled its purpose. In holding on to it, we actually frustrate the purpose (or will) of God for our growth.
