In this sermon Understanding The Promise land, in the promise land God does not take away our passions - he heightens them! God never intended us to be senseless robots, but rather to be free willed agents that can choose. Along with that comes the anxiety of having to make decisions. As well as the pain of suffering the consequences of wrong decisions. As God matures us and brings us to our time of leadership and ownership, life gets unexpectedly tough on us. God is reminding us that we must put on the armor and fight a good fight.
