In this sermon Two Extra Blessings, Joseph suffered much from his brothers during the days of his youth when God gave dreams to him. Their jealousy of the dreams' messages of bowing down to him enraged them. But God raised him up and prospered right there in the country of his affliction. He was called upon by Pharaoh after the leader had a dream. Pharaoh's butler informed him that a man in prison could interpret it. Joseph told the king that the dream spoke of seven years of plenty that were coming. And, to be followed by seven years of famine. Joseph was appointed to oversee harvest supplies during the seven plenteous years, and was thus highly promoted in Egypt. His prosperity changed his entire life. He forgot all his past troubles, and even his family troubles and came to have his own family. He prospered in t he very land where he was afflicted. If you feel your past is a lot to forget, how much do you feel your blessings and prosperity is going to be if it's going to be greater!
