When the old man rules your life, your mind is undisciplined and your actions are sinful. The head represents the mind and the hands represent the actions. Your head and hands are spiritually connected to the devil when your old man is ruling your life.  Your head and hands do not belong to the devil any more than human head and hands belong to a fish!
