In this sermon Their Bows Shall Be Broken, God made a way of escape, God had broken the bows of the enemy in the land of Egypt. Joshua reminded Israel that it was God that fought the battle and brought victory. They inherited the land not by their BOWS. “And I sent the HORNET before you which drave them out from before you, even the two kings of the Amorite's  but not with sword or thy bow. The Battle still belongs to God.  In 1 Samuel, we find how Hannah wanted a son.  She made a vow to God. If he would give her a son, she would give him unto the Lord all the days of his life. we find the prayer of thanksgiving. “The Bows of the Mighty men are broken and they that stumbled are with Strength.
