In this sermon The Thing Which I Will Do, we read about Abraham and learn the thing God wants to do exceeds anything we can ever imagine. Is God going to let me in on what He is going to do in my life? Will he reveal His full plan to me?  Is God going to keep me informed of what is going to happen next? No doubt you are wondering how and when you are going to be used. Don't worry, you will be used. But I think there is an important message in this scripture for us tonight. God wanted to know that Abraham was doing everything in his power to raise Ishmael up right.  God was proving him, watching him, and testing him. We all talk about having faith in God, but does God have faith in you? God has some things that He has not yet shared with us...but He wants to. God has some plans that He has not yet shared with me....but He wants to.
