The Sins of Summer
In this sermon The Sins of Summer, are the things that let us know that we are allowing this world to overcome us. Such actions will rob God because it prefers the creature over the Creator. We learn of a few temptations of summer. There are some valuable lessons that we may learn from this story in Judges 3. Even though we are several thousand years removed from this story, there are still some principles that we can gain from ancient times. Summer brings it’s own set of unique temptations. The lasting effects of the sins of summer are something that we must keep in mind moving into the summer. We must never compromise our testimony nor do things that will violate our conscience, even when it appears that the sin is going to be a convenient thing for us. Sin is never convenient and it’s effect is permanent.
