The Power Of Pentecost

The Power Of Pentecost

The power of Pentecost was not just to work miracles. One of the last things Jesus said before He ascended back to heaven was, “but you shall receive power”.  Immediately following Pentecost, we find the first miracle by the Apostles. The power of Pentecost is the power to be a witness and to speak the word of God with boldness. We are often not full of the Holy Ghost. You can speak in tongues as the evidence that you have the Holy Ghost and still not be FULL of the Holy Ghost.   You can talk about God all day long and not be FULL of the Holy Ghost. The Spirit of God is not substance that can be measured but the term “full” is strictly Bible, that’s why we use it.   The power is in the anointing.  You can be saved and have little anointing. It’s one thing to be Apostolic because of the way we baptize, but it’s another thing to be Apostolic because of an apostolic anointing!
