The Piercing of the Crimson Worm

The Piercing of the Crimson Worm

In this lesson, The Piercing of the Crimson Worm, although small and seemingly insignificant, the ‘coccus ilicis’ (the crimson worm) is more an insect than a worm. And when it’s time for it to bare it’s young, it amazingly attaches itself to a tree! As our Lord and Savior did for each one of us.

This Crimson worm’s blood was splattered but it was this Crimson worm that gave. It drained out everything that was in his body. And it was only His blood that could save them from all their sins. Because, after the gruesome piercing of our crimson worm Jesus Christ, He rose again!
