In this lesson, The Opposite of Love, people who are outside of the Christian faith often think that the opposite of love is hate; it is not. The opposite is apathy. When someone doesn’t care what happens to you, they are doing much more disservice to you. More than someone who tries to point out your mistakes.

Jesus showed love for people by saving them. He found sinners in all their forms and brought them out. He went into the houses of tax collectors, drunkards, Pharisees, and anyone else that needed to be saved. So, Jesus commands us to love one another just as He loved us and doing that for each other would define us.
