In this sermon The Narrow Way, I am told that diamonds in their finest cuts come at an exact 48 degree angle.  When a jeweler places the diamond on a piece of black velvet light is scattered in brilliant hues.  The contrasting black velvet and light brings out the majesty of the precious stone. This passage has the same capacity for the church of God.  The main focus of this passage is the aspects of salvation. I would like to turn this great passage as one might turn a diamond and find another great aspect of truth to it. The promise of the Lord was that we could have life. But, it could be more in that it could be abundant life.  The narrow way actually has the capacity to exalt not only men and women. It also has the ability to exalt churches to a level they have never known or experienced.
