In this sermon The Miracle That Took Away Sins, we read an excerpt from the Exodus journey.  Numbers 13 was the time the Israelites sent spies into Canaan to check out the land. Chapter 14 is where God rebukes the nation and was ready to destroy them all and raise up a new nation from Moses. They said Moses and Aaron took them into the wilderness to die. When they complained. So God says he will not destroy them but take their children in forty years later when the adults who doubted died off. Suddenly the ten spies who doubted are killed in a plague. It's as though a series of deaths occur as the result of their doubt and complaint.
