The gift of sovereignty, and The gift of Grace. God desired a people that LOVED him by choice! If you want to feel the awesome feeling of being loved. You must allow the person the right to walk away. So he blessed us with the RIGHT TO CHOOSE our own paths. Consequently, our sinful nature so often chooses poorly. So if God wanted to love us… he had to provide grace! But as free will agents we have to be TESTED on our choices. So Peter says… Don’t think the fiery trial is something strange!
