When the bible associates something with something else, it is intended to be very significant. In this sermon The Kingdom Is Already Here, we read the Holy Ghost is the same Spirit that resurrected Jesus. We must keep in mind that the Holy Spirit is the power that Resurrected Jesus Christ. Just as Christ was resurrected by the Spirit, and sent forth that same Spirit to us.  Even the possibility of sending forth the Spirit to us required His resurrection and ascension to the Father. And by drinking it, we obtain sure mercies of David. It was mercy God that saved us from sin, when He did not have to. Man sinned and left the Garden, but MERCY moved Him to return us to life and kingdom. And this mercy is everlasting since DEATH CANNOT DESTROY US AGAIN.
