The Hunger Factor
The difference between us and real Revival movement, is in our level of commitment. The Hunger Factor sermon teaches us the difference between appetite and hunger. The Apostolic Movement are motivated by appetite. The feeling of hunger is caused by strong contractions of the stomach muscles. It appears to be felt in the stomach, just as people feel thirst in the throat. But it is difficult to localize appetite. The sight, smell, or even thought of foods that are pleasing can arouse appetite. Worry, fear, excitement, anger, and sorrow depress it. Hunger may border on pain; appetite does not.
