In this sermon The First Step is Taking the First Step, it is up to us to take that first step, and go after the victories that we want to see in our lives. We live in a society of people that crave instant success. A society of people who want to have something without earning it. We want to have a bank account stacked full of money, without earning it. If we’re not careful, we’ll let this kind of mind-frame bleed over into our spiritual lives. We’ll expect to be close to God, but we haven’t spent any time with Him. We’ll expect to know the will of God, but we haven’t listened to Him lately. We’ll expect to be able to feel God, but we haven’t submitted our mind, body, & soul to Him.If we’re not careful church, we’ll expect that the victory is gonna come, whether we fight for it or not. If Satan can steal your willingness to fight, then he has successfully stolen your victory. There is a process to obtaining victory. There is a process of obtaining deliverance. The first step in that process is when you take the first step.
