In this lesson, The Cry of the Soul, we need to realize, that the Lord is as close as the mention of his name. There are times that situations of life, make us feel like we cannot stand upright and we are at the end of our ropes. But God will deliver us! We may feel that we are unworthy to call out to the Lord, but Jesus takes pleasure in hearing from us to deliver and help us in time of need. You may believe that you have to be perfect in every way for God to hear you. The truth is. with a merciful heart, God tenderly searches the Earth. Listening and longing to respond to the cries of His children. So even though you may have failed God in your past, He can start to work in your present.
