Husbands love their wives, Paul said, as Christ loved his church! Marriage is a union. A man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife and they become One flesh. However, this "marriage" is a spiritual union where we become "one spirit", as opposed to "one flesh", with Christ (1 Corinthians 6:17).
