Jesus Christ is the great conjunction between earth and heaven, but if he will not touch sinful mortal people who approach him then what help is he to us? In this sermon The Approachableness of Jesus, You do need a mediator between your soul and God. You must not think of coming to God without a mediator. But, you do not want any mediator between yourselves and Christ because Jesus is leading you to Himself. He is the eternal Father, but in order to become our mediator, He had to come as we are to accomplish the impossible!  When He mediates you, He is drawing you to His eternal nature and anointing. You can come to Jesus without any preparation, and without any righteousness, because as mediator he has in Himself all the righteousness and fitness that you require. He is ready to give you what you need to thrive in Him. You can come boldly to him right now, here tonight, the man Christ Jesus waits to reconcile you unto the Spirit of God by his blood!  Jesus Christ is approachable because He is our Mediator!
