In this sermon Spying into the Spirit World, The “Discerning of Spirits” gives us a glimpse into the spirit world. It gives us understanding of both the bad and good that exists in the realm of the spirit. The “Discerning of Spirits” gives us a glimpse into the spirit world.  Giving us understanding of both the bad and good that exists in the realm of the spirit. It is not  “mind reading”, the “gift of discernment”, or the “gift of suspicion”.  It does not have anything to do with psychology or the power of the natural mind. The “Discerning of Spirits” does not require that we be some sort of “Spirit Hunters” looking for a spirit behind every tree. It is a supernatural revelation of the Spirit and allows us to know whether or not something or someone is of the: Spirit of God, man and Devil. This means that the “Discerning of Spirits” allow us to know whether the spirit of a person is of God or not.
